Perry White is a recurring character in My Adventures with Superman. He is the editor-in-chief of the newspaper company the Daily Planet.

Biography[]

Early Life[]

Perry knew Vicki Vale in college. He ran the number two student newspaper in the country (with Vicki's student newspaper taking the number one spot).

Season 1[]

Perry was the editor-in-chief when Clark and Jimmy joined the Daily Planet.[1] He assigned the Superman story to Steve, Cat, and Ronnie.[2]

  • A recurring gag is Perry’s insistence that Lois, Jimmy and Clark do not call him “Chief”, a catchphrase for multiple iterations of Perry White was “Don’t call me Chief!”. This trait originated from the 1950s television show, The Adventures of Superman.
  • This incarnation of Perry is a derivative of the version from the DCEU as portrayed by Lawrence Fishburne.
