- Natasha Irons was created by Louise Simonson, Jon Bogdanove and Chris Batista who first appeared in Steel (Volume 2) #1 in February, 1994. She is the niece of John Henry Irons also known as Steel who after he was trapped by the Entropy Aegis of Darkseid used her engineering skills to create her own exo-skeleton and kinetic hammer in order to save him, becoming the second Steel. During the events of 52, she would gain powers as a result of the Everyman Project, going by the codenames of Starlight and Vaporlock during that time.
