My Adventures with Supergirl is the tenth episode of Season 2 of My Adventures with Superman, and the twentieth episode overall. The episode also serves as the Season 2 finale. It premiered on July 21, 2024.
Synopsis[]
Superman, Kara, Lois and Jimmy team up to fight Brainiac, but will Superman have to choose between saving Earth and saving the people he loves? It's truth, justice and a better way clashing with the might of Krypton in the epic Season 2 finale!
Plot[]
Superman and Kara have fallen unconscious while Brainiac continues his assault on Earth. The Human Defense Corps unsuccessfully attempts to destroy Kandor, while Brainiac has seized control of the Metallos and send them out to destroy any human resistance. Realizing she might die, Waller decides to die fighting while Lex runs for his life. Meanwhile, Livewire's crew save Superman and Kara while Dr. Irons, wearing the Steel suit, has saved Lois, Jimmy and Steve. They were brought together by Sam Lane, who had gathered as many allies as possible to save Earth. Waller and Sam decide to put their differences aside to save the Earth, while Livewire clarifies that she and her gangs of thieves are not Superman's friends. They just don't want Brainiac to conquer their home.
To stop Brainiac, the Kryptonian cousins must reach his ship and shut him down. Livewire's crew attempt to clear a path for them but are forced to retreat when the Kryptonite in the Metallos start affecting them. Superman and Kara reach Brainiac's ship but Brainiac paralyzes Kara with the trigger word "Eradicator". He also reveals that because the Kryptonians were losing the war, Jor-El started conducting peace talks with their mysterious enemies. Brainiac was worried that if peace was achieved, he would be decommissioned because he was built for war. For that, he destroyed Krypton, but Jor-El and his brother saved their children, and Brainiac was able to find Kara and use it against Superman. He gives Superman a choice: save his cousin or his home.
Superman refuses to play Brainiac's game, so Brainiac sends Kara and remaining robots against him. This time, however, Superman has decided to save his cousin instead of fighting her. He brings her into the ground and embraces her. Whatever happens, he won't leave her and she won't be alone anymore. Lois and Jimmy embrace Kara and promise to be with her, as well. Their combined support helps Kara break free from Brainiac's control and the Kryptonian cousins destroy Brainiac's remaining robots and push Kandor right into the Sun.
Brainiac knows that he is too injured to recover, so he uses his last shard of Kryptonite to prepare an energy beam that will destroy Superman and Kara, but Kara pushes Superman out of the beam's path and falls into the Sun. Superman recovers her and they are surprised to learn that the Sun is healing them rather than hurting them. Kara realizes that the power of Kryptonians comes from sunlight and a new suit, similar to that of Superman, forms around her. Empowered by the Sun, the Els destroy Kandor and Brainiac is forced to confront Kara by himself. With the last of his power, Brainiac creates a Kryptonite blade and slashes Kara in the right cheek with it, but Kara breaks Brainiac in half and throws his body into the sun. Only his CPU remains.
The battle is over, and the Earth is saved, but Kara is left exhausted and falls unconscious in her cousin's arms. Days pass and Kara finally awakens in Smallville. Clark had taken her to the Kent farm so that she could recover, and his parents have welcomed her into their family with open arms. Kara finally has the chance to live her own life and move on from her tainted past.
Within the next few days, Metropolis has enjoyed peace. The Kents have invited their friends to a barbecue, while Mallah, the Brain and Kara help in the reconstruction efforts. The Daily Planet has published an article about Superman's heroic efforts while the Gotham Gazette has secured an exclusive interview with Earth's newest heroine: Supergirl. Unfortunately, Waller has escaped into hiding while Lex and Slade continue LexCorp's growth.
At the Daily Planet, Clark promised to support Lois in whatever she does, but Lois has decided to remain in Metropolis. She wants to be herself instead of trying to emulate Vicki Vale. Jimmy and Kara join them while they go out in search for another adventure. Superman is happy that his family has become bigger and proclaims that whatever challenges they might face, they will face them together.

Trivia[]
- The program that controls Kara is named the "Eradicator" protocol, a reference to the alien system from the comics and that once tried to control Krypton and was responsible for the creation of the Kryptonian offshots- the Daxamites.
- The fact it was used to personally control Kara is also likely a reference to the time the Eradicator program tried to convert Superman into one of the more ruthless Kryptonian warriors.
- The weapon that Brainiac used to wipe out all of Krypton is similar to the portal that leads to the Phantom Zone.
- During Brainiac's flashback of Krypton's destruction, the planet Apokolips is shown briefly which in other media is the home planet of another one of Superman's archenemies, Darkseid. Meaning that the enemy that Krypton was at war with at the time was Darkseid.
- Though the planet shown could also be the mobile planetoid Warworld, as Apokolips is not considered (or capable) of being a mobile planet as all travel is restricted to the use of Boomtubes.
- Brainiac makes a reference to Black Zero.
- The newspaper article headline that Perry White published during the ending is the official title of the series.
- Also, Vicki Vale somehow manages to get an interview with Supergirl.
- Brainiac says the exact same line regarding Earth that he said in his initial appearance in Season 1.
- Supergirl having red aura and Superman having blue aura is a reference to Superman Red/Superman Blue.
- In the beginning of the episode, Hank Henshaw is seen leading a charge against Brainiac but him and his fleet was quickly vaporized, Amanda Waller tries to call forth for his assistance, but to no avail, leaving his fate ambiguous currently.
