The League of Lois Lanes is group of Lois Lanes from across the Multiverse that work together to help protect the Multiverse.

History

The League was founded by Lois Prime after she discovered the existence of the multiverse, protecting alternate realities from various threats, including evil variants of Superman, and recruiting only those doppelgängers of herself (and the occasional Jimmy Olsen), whom they deemed "League material".

After the League captured Mr. Mxyzptlk, he managed to escape to the previously uncharted Earth-12 when a portal opened to it, where he recruited the local Superman to aid in his scheme. Needing to track Superman-12, the League recruited Lois and Jimmy from his universe so they could track their universe's tachyon signature. Mxyzptlk tricked the League to Earth-14. Leaving his bag of loot as a decoy, Mxyzptlk stole the League's ship and warped away. Making a situational ally of Earth-12 Lois, the two warped to the League of Lois Lanes' Headquarters via a backup key in Lois Prime's Recorder.

As "Fun Lois" accessed the League's files, Mxyzptlk found their vault and retrieved his bowler hat, unlocking his full powers and setting the Headquarters to self-destruct. Allying with Superman, who had since understood he'd been tricked, the League and Superman used Mxyzptlk's speed against him, Clark and Lois managing to remove his bowler hat and allowing the League to take him prisoner once again. Jalana Olsen covertly sent the residents of Earth-12 home, wiping their universe's coordinates from the League's database. Mxyzptlk managed to quickly escape the League again, briefly returning to Earth-12 to taunt Lois about her lack of knowledge regarding Kryptonite.

• Many other variants of Lois cameo as holograms in the League's headquarters when Lois-12 first arrives, most notably what appears to be the DCAU's Lois, suggesting that they were also members of the League.
