Lara Lor-Van is one of the two posthumous overarching protagonists of My Adventures with Superman.
She is the biological mother of Clark Kent and the wife of Jor-El. One of the rulers of the Kryptonian Empire alongside her husband. She died with Jor-El in the destruction of their home planet and appeared in Clark's vision given by Jor-El.
