Kryptonian Energy Crystals are a type of crystal created by the Kryptonian Empire to power their technology and weapons. These crystals would later be repurposed by Task Force X after the events of Zero Day in order to prevent another invasion from Nemesis Omega and "his kind" from happening again.

An Energy Crystal would be used to power Livewire's harness during her battle with Slade Wilson at the City Bistro. When Slade damaged her harness, the crystal would start to overload, resulting in it generating a large amount of energy capable of destroying the city and transforming Leslie into a Metahuman. As a result, Superman would then remove the energy crystal in order to disable the harness, causing him to experience visons of Zero Day.

- Energy Generation: The crystals are capable of generating energy for a variety of purposes.
- Technological Telepathy (Technopathy): The crystals seem to give their users the ability to manipulate certain technological devices at will.
