The Kent Farm is a farm located in Smallville, Kansas, in which the Kent family resides and operates.
History[]
Circa 2001, Kal-El's spacecraft crashed near the farm. Jonathan and Martha Kent adopted Kal-El as their son and gave him the name Clark Kent. Roughly ten years later, Clark discovered his alien powers and was shown his spacecraft. When Clark's presence activated Jor-El's hologram, the language barrier and the ship opening caused Clark to panic, reburying the ship for over a decade.[1]
After Clark had befriended Jimmy Olsen, Jimmy came over "every other year" to the farm for Thanksgiving.[2]
When Clark began his career as Superman in 2023, he returned to the farm to speak to Jor-El's hologram where he was gifted the Superman Suit. Finding it lacking, Martha provided her son with a pair of red trunks to wear on the suit's outside.[3]
Shortly before Valentine's Day 2023, Clark brought Jimmy and Lois to the farm to show the uppermost layer of his ship.[4]
On Thanksgiving 2023, the Kents hosted Sam and Lois Lane for dinner. After a sample of Kryptonite was exposed, the security systems aboard Clark's ship activated, deploying 0MACs to destroy the Kryptonite and opening a portal to Brainiac. By sticking the Kryptonite into the ship's power core, Superman shut down the portal.[2]
Following Brainiac's invasion, Clark brought Kara to the farm to recuperate. A week after the invasion, a barbecue was held at the farm to celebrate the invader being defeated.[5]
