- Jessica Cruz was created by Geoff Johns and Ethan Van Sciver, debuting as a Green Lantern in Justice League (vol. 2) #31 in August of 2014, though she made a few cameos beforehand. In the mainstream DC Comics continuity, she is the first female human Green Lantern, inheriting the ring of Hal Jordan from Earth-3.
