The Destruction of Krypton was a major event in My Adventures with Superman.
The planet Krypton and its inhabitants, the Kryptonians were completely decimated by a powerful unseen foe, despite their efforts to fight back. The treacherous A.I., Brainiac was about to obliterate the planet by sending it to Hell, and escape to establish his new Kryptonian Empire. Members of House of El, Jor-El, Lara Lor-Van and Zor-El made plans to send their children Kal-El and Kara-Zor-El to another world where they can be safe, making them the known survivors and last Kryptonians in the universe.
Kal-El was sent to planet Earth, where he was taken in by Jonathan and Martha Kent and raised as an Earthling.
Later on, the El's plan was all for naught, as Kara was later found by Brainiac, following the aftermath of her home planet's destruction and was brainwashed to serve the evil android as his second-in-command in his campaign to conquer the universe.
