Joseph Martin, also known as Atomic Skull, is a supporting antagonist during Season 2 of My Adventures with Superman.

Background[]
Not much is known about Atomic Skull's past beyond that he joined Task Force X at some point and was physiologically enhanced when Amanda Waller became the head of Task Force X.
Season 2[]
Adventures with My Girlfriend[]
Amid the escape from the Task Force X Facility beneath Stryker's Island, Martin is spotted alongside Agent Wilson and Waller when they are divided by Sam Lane, who employs special commands to separate various sections of the facility. Martin then applies his abilities to liquefy the door to reunite with Waller, who subsequently instructs him to attack Sam. However, Superman manages to grab him and Lois Lane, flying to the mess hall while Martin persists in directing radioactive energy at them. Martin then engages in a battle with Superman as Lois and Sam work to free the prisoners subjected to experiments by Task Force X. He would continue to battle with Superman until the facility begins to collapse, resulting in Martin being knocked out.[1]
Two Lanes Diverged[]
Martin is seen once again tasked with killing Sam Lane due to his betrayal. After Sam and Lois escape from Slade Wilson in Schott's Pawn shop, he is ordered by Wilson to chase them down and kill them both. Arriving at S.T.A.R Labs alongside Wilson and Damage, they all proceed to fight Sam and Lois until Superman arrives to save them both. After their fighting alerts the civilians inside the lab, Wilson orders both him and Damage to retreat. [2]
Pierce the Heavens, Superman![]
During the New Kryptonian Empire's Invasion of Earth, Martin alongside Damage and Slade Wilson is ordered by Waller to take down Brainiac. However, due to now possessing Superman, Brainiac can take down Martin with a single punch. It is unknown what happened to Martin after Brainiac's failed Invasion though due to Agent Slade still being alive, it can be assumed that he's still active either as a free agent much like Slade or is currently incarcerated after Task Force X is exposed and shut down.[3]
Appearance[]
In his human form, he seems to be a light-skinned man with red hair. As the Atomic Skull, he has a yellow-green flaming, radioactive skull in place of a head and dons a black, grey, and purple suit designed for containment, with transparent arms that glow to reveal the nuclear energy inside.

Metahuman Physiology: After being transformed into a Metahuman by Task Force X through Kryptonian technology, Martin's new physiology grants him the ability to manipulate radiation.

- Energy Projection: Atomic Skull can project incredibly powerful radioactive blasts from his hands that are strong enough to hurt Superman.
- Corrosive Touch: Atomic Skull can use radiation to melt through any substance.

- Joseph Martin is the second character in the comics to bear the Atomic Skull name and the most popular one utilized in television, video games and movies. Created by Roger Stern and Bob McLeod, he first appeared in The Adventures of Superman #483 in 1991.
