Great to see the new staff. Lets hope they do the wikia proud.
Here are the facts regarding Apokolips-
Apokolips is not located in the same area of space as Krypton
Apokolips is part of a higher dimensional space (ie Sphere of the Gods)
The only possible planetary body thats anywhere remotely near Apokolips is New Genesis.
Apokolips is only reachable by Boom Tubes due to the nature of the place.
Peace talks were being attempted with Krypton's foe. This is not possible without access to a mother/father box as Apokolips is unreachable by any other means.
Darkseid has no desire for peace, and any attempt to do so would ultimately be futile.
Due to being unreachable without the aid of a mother/fatherbox, any conflict between Apokolips and the Kryptonians would be over as soon as it began (as they would have no way of reaching or bringing the fight to them.) and would be limited to merely small scale skirmish's that couldn't possibly result in as many deaths as brainiac and jor-el both claim.
Due to existing in a higher dimensional space and not being part of the regular universe, Apokolips isn't capable of Independent planetary movement and thus couldn't reach Krypton's system (as its shown to be in the same quadrant of space as the star Rao). This also feeds back into facts number 3 and 4.
These are the facts, when you put them all together you can see that the opponent the Kryptonians fought would have to be someone (or something) else.
DC Canon (and by extension the entire rest of DCAU and DC Cinematic Universe) state that Apokolips is not part of the regular universe, and can only be reached by Boom Tube Technology, Apokolips and its counterpart, are both part of the Sphere of the Gods (since Darkseid is considered one of the New Gods in all forms of DC Canon), and so it is not reachable due by any means other than Boom Tubes.
Regardless of what you believe, it cannot be reached by Spaceships. If you don't have access to a mother or father box, then your out of luck. If Krypton did fight against Darkseid and Apokolips then there wouldn't have even been a conflict between them since there is no way to reach Apokolips for the Kryptonians, the war would be over before it started.
Remember that Brainiac said the Jor-el was attempting peace talks with their enemy. If the enemy was actually Darkseid like you think, there wouldn't even be peace talks because Darkseid is physically incapable of mercy for anyone that isn't a resident of Apokolips or a fellow new god. So the facts are clearly pointing to Warworld and Mongul, rather than Apokolips and Darkseid.
It was never confirmed that it was Apokolips. And Apokolips is not capable of Independent movment. If you review the finale, you see it in the distance above Krypton's sun Rao. Apokolips was never that close to Krypton in any version of the Superman canon.
Apokolips might be a planet, but its not located in the same space as the rest of the universe. Which is why it can only be accessed by Boomtubes (the same with New Genesis).
It can only be Warworld, because that IS capable of movement. Plus the latest design for Warworld is incredibly similar to Apokolips appearance. Plus if you review the season 2 opener, you will see the planet that Krypton was facing according to Jor-el doesn't possess the same structure as Apokolips (its design is much closer to Warworld's appearance). You can believe what you wish, but the available facts immediately torpedo your theory.
The Rogue's Gallery for season 3 seems to suggest that Mongul will make an appearance in Season 3. So it seems that I was right regarding Warworld being the planet in the flashback from the season 2 finale.
It also looks like Power Girl may be introduced (if the short-haired girl wearing the cape in the bottom left corner is any indication.)?
It will be interesting to see the origin of Connor Kent in this series (the original version was a creation of Cadmus)
@Dinoboyo Eradicator was already used in the season 2 finale (it was the protocol that Brainiac used to control Kara).
Its more likely that is Bizarro instead. Though it will be easier to tell who is who once this storyboard is shown in color.
Warworld may have already appeared, as the planet shown in the flashback about krypton was at war and before when Krypton was destroyed was quite likely Warworld.
Despite the fact most people think its Apokolips, its can't really be. Since Apokolips can only be reached by Boom Tubes, and its not capable of planetary independent mobility (since it was shown hovering above Krypton's star, Rao. Which would put it literally right next to Krypton if that was the case). However Warworld has a similar appearance to Apokolips and it is capable of moving through space on its own, It also possesses weaponry capable of defeating even the strongest Kryptonians....without using any Kryptonite or similar material.
So the likelyhood that Krypton was at war with Warworld (and Mongul) is far more likely than them battling Darkseid and Apokolips in the previous 22 or so years before Krypton was destroyed.
Actually there is only Apokolips or Warworld in that picture.
Considering this is taking place right outside of Krypton (since the star in the middle is Krypton's sun, Rao) it can't really be Apokolips, as the planet isn't capable of independent movement. Though Warworld is mobile, and has a very similar appearance to Apokolips.
New Genesis isn't shown.
Also Warworld's weapons are powerful enough to defeat even Kryptonians. So it makes sense for the planet shown to be Warworld, rather than Apokolips.
We don't know that there are going to be seven seasons, heck we don't even know if season 3 will stay in production or if WB will move on to a different project.
Yes they said it was in production, but we don't know how far long it is or if it will be stuck in development hell. So saying there is a definite number of 7 seasons is a lie, since neither the producers nor the cast have confirmed anything regarding this.
Its merely your opinion, and not even an accurate one. Saying its outright confirmed is not remotely true.
Galatea was a creation of Cadmus, rather than the Kryptonians. And Cadmus already made its appearance in MAWS (it was the group that Brain and Mallah were originally a part of)
Clark has little reason to leave earth at this time of his life. The only times he left earth was because he forced too by outside means (ie The lord of chaos Mr Mxyzptlk forcing him too and Kara defeating him to take him to brainiac),
So him encountering Lobo is not something that should happen now, its something that makes more sense to establish his hero status first and rebuild his reputation before he encounters new other-planetary threats. Until that happens, it doesn't really make sense for him to leave earth or meet Lobo or other villains from space. That's the kind of think that would more realistically happen during Season 4 or 5. Season 3 would be better spent building up the rogue's gallery from earth and metropolis that he hasn't encountered yet (like Checkmate, Bizarro, Mercy Graves, Hank Henshaw as cyborg superman, and others like that)
I don't think they really care much about upsetting GL fans. Since its obvious that the holograms are from civilizations that were destroyed/conquered in the past.
Besides, if you look at the expressions of the GL that Clark fought you can see that he is crying. That pretty much confirms that Bovilax is gone, and he was one of the last of his kind. In fact, if we go with the theory that they were planets wiped out during the height of the Kryptonian Empire, then Bovilax has been gone for a long time.
One of the reasons why I can say with far certainty that the GL's are gone is because its already happened before in the comics. When Mogo was dead/destroyed the GL corp lost their only means of passing out lantern rings. So if we assume that the Lantern Battery we saw was from that period of time, then it makes sense that it doesn't return to the Guardians.....because the corp wouldn't have any means to retrieve it as Mogo is dead. If the same is true with the current storyline, than Bolivax could have been wiped out without a new lantern corp member being chosen before hand.
If you recall, we saw a Green Lantern power battery in the display at the museum that the League of Lois's home reality, that indicates that the Lanterns are likely gone (since the battery returns to the Guardians if there is no one left to use it). As for Euphorix and Lobo, i think its much too early for Lobo to make an appearance. Maybe during Season 4, but not 2 or 3. There is a lot more world building to do before we get into those kinds of characters. This is a basic fact, as for Lobo to appear it would require Clark to leave Earth for a much longer period of time then he initially has. Which is not how things are currently progressing based on what we know of the synopsis. So he can't appear yet, and its too soon for him to appear in Season 3 since clark has to rebuild his reputation after Task Force X and Checkmate are currently defaming him. Until that happens, he can't fight foes from other planets.
Not to likely. Kilowog favors much heavier weaponry when forming constructs with his lantern ring. This guy seemed to be more of dnd monk style fighter and only used lantern constructs to bolster his existing fighting skills.
So I highly doubt that was kilowog. More likely a nameless lantern warrior that just happened to have the bad luck encountering brainiac (or Kara). Or it may be a lantern warrior from the time when the Kryptonian Empire was still active.
This series is only about Superman, not about anyone else or any other members of the JL.
If your expecting the Justice League to appear, then your watching the wrong series.
Batman is never going to appear in this series- "One of the show's producers, Jake Wyatt, confirmed in an interview that Batman won't appear at any point as the staff explained that Warner Brothers Discovery is working on multiple related projects and considered Batman too fraught to be given an appearance."
Justice League won't be happening guys, sorry but your barking up the wrong tree.
If your watching this superman with idea that its going to be like all the others, then not only are you going to be sorely disappointed but your also watching it the WRONG way.
Kryptonite doesn't exist on earth in this series and it never did (it had to be physically introduced to earth from an entirely different universe). Thats one of the major factors that its not going to be the same.
There is no mention of the Phantom Zone at all in this series. So your just making stuff up at this point. One of the main differences is that the Kryptonians are a war mongering empire, not a peaceful highly advanced race like in the original comics.
So there would never be a reason for the Phantom Zone, because people like Zod would be celebrated and hailed in this version of Krypton. So its clear as day that the Phantom Zone doesn't exist in My Adventures With Superman.
While it might exist in the other universes, it doesn't exist in the one the story takes place in.
This version of Superman is not the same as the mainstream comics or other animated series. Its a completely different timeline/reality with entirely different circumstances/events and occurrences. The shows creators already confirmed that its not going to be the same superman that everyone else knows.
No. She is working with brainiac, not Zod.
Zod doesn't exist in this series unless your talking about Nemesis Omega (and even that isn't confirmed). Kara is the Kryptonian Warrior who appeared at the end of Season 1, who was the one initially thought to be Zod.
The fact the warrior's voice actor is female is because its a hint that their real identity is Kara (which is confirmed in episode 4: Two Lanes Diverged). No other Kryptonian's are alive other than Clark and Kara (brainiac is a Kryptonian AI, and thus doesn't count as being living or dead). Sorry pal, but your barking up the wrong tree. Jor-el confirmed that all the remaining Kryptonian's are deceased other then the two of them (and we saw the destruction of the Kryptonian race as well)
