It took only two seasons for Superman to realize that the Yellow Sun of the solar system in the MAWS universe is the source of his all Kryptonian superpowers that he uses to safeguard the Earth. Also, the Yellow Sun is what even granted Kara her official “Supergirl” costume which is actually similar to the current suit Superman wears today.

What we’ve seen through seasons 1 and 2 today was the commitment Superman and Supergirl made together to protect the world from the forces of darkness—such as finally defeating Brainiac (along with Supergirl ultimately ending Brainiac’s life for not only her abduction, but also the rest of the House of El’s murder via Krypton’s destruction).

So, the moral of this whole story is to never take the easy way out because the next time you end up in a scrape, a friend in need will always be there to lend you a helping hand.
